Senate President Sama Lukonde announced on Wednesday, June 10, during a plenary session, that the National Assembly had transmitted the bill setting the conditions for organizing a referendum in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The text, which now enters a second reading in the upper house of Parliament, has been referred to the Political, Administrative and Legal Commission (PAJ) for thorough study. The commission has three days to submit its report.
