Ayyoub Bouaddi reveals preference between PSG and Arsenal for summer transfer
Trained at LOSC and set to make his World Cup debut with Morocco, Ayyoub Bouaddi is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about prospects ahead of the summer window. Despite recently extending his contract until June 2029, the 18-year-old midfielder could still leave if the right offer arrives. Paris Saint-Germain has emerged as a serious contender, but Arsenal is also pushing hard for his signature. Sources close to the player indicate that Bouaddi currently leans toward joining the French capital side.
Arsenal tries to lure Bouaddi, but PSG leads the race
According to information gathered from trusted insiders, the Gunners have been in contact with Bouaddi’s representatives since January 2025 and consider him a top priority to reinforce their midfield. A prominent role in Mikel Arteta‘s squad was reportedly promised to the teenager, who listened carefully to the London club’s pitch. However, despite being receptive, Bouaddi still prefers the prospect of playing for PSG at this stage.
Létang sets high price tag to ward off suitors
LOSC president Olivier Létang has made the club’s position clear. “We have had very regular discussions with Ayyoub. The idea is to keep him. But if something extraordinary comes with an exceptional fee, we could consider his departure. Above €50 million? No, that’s not enough. We are far from the amount that would let Ayyoub go,” Létang stated. Both PSG and Arsenal are now aware that any deal will require a record-breaking bid to convince Lille to part with their prized asset.
