Strengthening diplomatic ties between Morocco and Gambia
In a significant step toward deepening regional alliances, Nasser Bourita, the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, hosted Sering Modou Njie in Rabat this Thursday. Serving as the Gambian Minister of Foreign Affairs and acting as a special envoy for President Adama Barrow, Njie arrived with a formal written communication intended for King Mohammed VI.
A partnership built on mutual respect
Following the high-level discussions, Njie expressed his deep appreciation for the exceptional state of relations currently shared by Morocco and Gambia. He characterized the connection between Rabat and Banjul as one firmly rooted in sincere friendship, brotherhood, and active cooperation.
The Gambian official further highlighted the robust nature of the partnership, noting that it is driven by shared objectives and a collective ambition to enhance current diplomatic dynamics.
