Drc’s arsp digitizes subcontracting certificate issuance for enhanced efficiency
The Regulatory Authority for Subcontracting in the Private Sector (ARSP) in the Democratic Republic of Congo is advancing its service modernization efforts. The public institution recently issued a statement announcing the full implementation of a digital process for issuing subcontracting certificates, a crucial document for companies operating within this sector.
This transformative reform, championed by ARSP Director General Juan Ted Beleshayi Kasanda, aims to significantly expedite the processing of applications. By fully digitizing procedures, from initial submission to final certificate issuance, the ARSP seeks to streamline operations.
“Our objective is to progressively shorten issuance times to seven days, ultimately reaching a target of seventy-two hours,” the ARSP statement highlighted.
Henceforth, all certificates will be delivered in an electronic format, allowing recipients to print them directly. Each digital document is fortified with a QR Code, enabling immediate verification of its authenticity. Furthermore, a comprehensive list of all valid certificates is readily accessible on the institution’s official website.
To mark the launch of this innovative reform, the first digital certificates were granted to seven pioneering companies:
MASKAN SERVICES SARL, PANAFRIVA SARLU, NKAEL SERVICES SARL, MAG CONTRACTOR SARL, ENTREPRISE GÉNÉRALE INVEST SARL, LIELE GLOBAL INVESTMENT CORPORATION SARL, and PERCEVE SARL.
In another significant update, the ARSP also revealed an extension to the validity period for these certificates, increasing it from three to five years for both new applications and renewals.
“Through this strategic reform, the ARSP reaffirms its dedication to modernizing its services, simplifying administrative procedures for economic operators, and actively contributing to an improved business climate,” the public establishment underscored.
