This Monday, following the presentation of the SONEMIC (National Mining and Marketing Company) annual report and a recap of its mission, Chad’s Minister of Mines, Fatimé Haram Acyl, expressed pride in the organization’s strategic vision, which highlights local innovations.

The Minister shared her amazement at discovering a locally developed software system that tracks mining permits, integrates with customs and tax authorities. This tool, already managing 147 issued permits, represents a significant leap toward transparency and reliability in Chad’s mining sector.
