The commander of the Chad-Central African Republic (CAR) joint force, Brigadier General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor, recently extended his support to soldiers injured in the Korbol department. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, General Hor made a compassionate visit to the Sarh Outel Bono provincial hospital, aiming to assess the condition of military personnel wounded during skirmishes that occurred the preceding Thursday in the Korbol area.

During this vital visit, General Hor focused on two specific soldiers who sustained injuries in the armed confrontation. Sergeant Allahguernganye Diro Martial, 36 years old, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, while Corporal-Chief Djimet Issakah Dane sustained a fractured left leg due to gunfire. Both soldiers received initial treatment at the Sarh provincial hospital, but their injuries were determined to require more specialized medical intervention.

Following discussions with the hospital’s medical team and care staff, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor promptly requested the immediate transfer of the injured soldiers to N’Djamena. This urgent evacuation was deemed essential to ensure they receive the advanced and specialized care necessary for their recovery. Dr. Sayambaye Alladoumdjim, the Deputy Director of Sarh provincial hospital, commended the swift response from the defense and security forces in facilitating the transfer of their comrades to N’Djamena for appropriate medical attention.

Hospital sources confirmed that the medical evacuation of the two soldiers was carried out as an emergency on the same day. Military authorities are hopeful that this rapid and specialized care will significantly enhance their prospects for a full recovery.
