Morocco’s top security official meets Iraq’s ambassador in Rabat

The Director-General of Morocco’s National Security and Territorial Surveillance Directorate, Abdellatif Hammouchi, held a strategic meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the DGSN headquarters in Rabat with Iraq’s Ambassador to Morocco, Hayder Shiya Albarrak.

During the discussions, both officials explored avenues to bolster bilateral cooperation across key security domains, including public safety, intelligence sharing, technical assistance, and police training programs. A joint statement from the DGSN-DGST highlighted the importance of exchanging best practices and expertise to consolidate security partnerships.
