Official Announcement from Club OHADA of the Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey

The esteemed Club OHADA UAM/FSJP, in a collaborative effort with the International Committee of the OHADA “Génie en Herbe” Competition (CIGHO), is proud to announce the organization of the 2026 National OHADA Legal Excellence Competition. This significant event aims to identify and celebrate top legal talent within Niger.

This prestigious selection process is open to all third-year undergraduate (Licence 3) and Master’s degree students enrolled in both public and private universities across Niger. Additionally, students from accounting schools are also encouraged to participate.

Prospective candidates have until June 15, 2026, to submit their applications. Registration is mandatory for teams comprising three (3) candidates, with the crucial requirement that each team must include at least one female participant, promoting diversity and inclusion in legal education.

Who can apply?

• Law students (Licence 3 and Master’s levels)
• Economics students (Licence 3 and Master’s levels)
• Students from the Justice Section of the National School of Administration (Licence 3 and Master’s levels)

Competition stages

1. Written examinations:

• Multiple-choice questions (MCQ)
• Questions focusing on African integration
• “Who Am I?” challenge
• Relay questions

2. Oral examination:

• Pleading session
