PEEA 2026 award honours IAI-Cameroun graduate in Paris
PEEA 2026: IAI-Cameroun’s academic excellence celebrated in Paris

Before an impressive gathering of scientific, cultural, and diplomatic figures, Brayan Yebga Miyogog, a former student of the Institut Africain d’Informatique du Cameroun (IAI-Cameroun) / Paul Biya Technological Centre of Excellence, solemnly received the “Prix d’Excellence de l’Étudiant Africain” (PEEA) from the association of the same name, led by Géraude Akakpo, on 27 June 2026 in Paris, France. This prestigious distinction rewards his resilience, academic excellence, and ethical commitment to impactful leadership from Africa on the international stage.
The award is an international recognition of the intrinsic value of this young man, well trained in software engineering at IAI-Cameroun, which is managed by the Resident Representative, Armand Claude Abanda, who also holds the #UNESCO Chair in Central Africa for Access-ICT.
By winning this Silver Prize, which highlights resilience, commitment, and academic excellence among students from the African diaspora and the continent, IAI-Cameroun’s sustained expertise is crowned. The happy recipient acknowledged that it is thanks to the qualities (rigour, discipline, taste for well-done work, perseverance…) acquired at the Paul Biya Technological Centre of Excellence that he is a model of success today. “On the day, I will wear the colours of IAI. In my speech and exchanges, I will recall where I come from and the quality of the training I received from you. It is a pride to represent the school before this audience,” the young laureate expressed. This is a true source of pride for IAI and its top management, who spare no effort to place on the job market young people with proven skills.
It is worth noting that a few weeks earlier, the #AgriGuardian platform, of which Brayan Yebga Miyogog is one of the main bearers, won the “TechforTech Public Prize” in the Petit Poucet 2026 competition.
For the record, Mr. Miyogog is a trainer and junior architect in systems, networks, and #cybersecurity based in Montpellier, France. This digital virtuoso combines advanced skills in computer science, digital security, and #AI.
