The General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) will extend its e-services platform to partner taxpayers of the Small Business Tax Centers (CIPE) in Parakou, Comè and Lokossa, with a phased rollout beginning September 21, 2026.

The measure also enables online issuance of tax documents, including payment receipts and tax compliance certificates. The DGI plans awareness and training sessions to assist affected taxpayers in using the platform.

The expansion targets partner taxpayers under these three CIPEs and widens access to digital tax services already offered by the administration.

Deployment timeline

The schedule sets three stages: September 21 in Parakou, September 28 in Comè, and October 5 in Lokossa. At each date, eligible taxpayers can access online services through the DGI e-services platform.

Available procedures include filing obligations and payments, as well as access to certain tax certificates. The administration’s stated goal is to reduce trips to physical counters and ease the administrative burden of these formalities.

This extension is part of Benin’s gradual digitalization of tax procedures. For the partner taxpayers involved, the first operational deadline is September 21, 2026, in Parakou, followed by Comè a week later and Lokossa on October 5.
