  • Parma secures promising talent

Following extensive speculation, Cremaschi is now set to establish his career permanently in Italy. The Serie A outfit triggered the €4 million clause to convert his initial loan, which was originally scheduled until September 2025, into a full transfer. Hailing from the Inter Miami academy, the American sensation was honored as the Young American Player of the Year last season and boasts three caps for his national team.

  • A challenging start with Parma

Despite his arrival at Parma, Cremaschi found limited opportunities to showcase his full potential. Joining the club shortly after the signing of Argentine international Rodrigo De Paul, the American struggled to regain his optimal physical condition and form. He made his debut in October but subsequently played only sporadically before a knee injury in March brought his season to an early conclusion.

  • Forced departure from Miami

Cremaschi, a natural central midfielder, had become an unlikely candidate to rejoin the Herons’ squad after openly criticizing coach Javier Mascherano’s tactical decisions. Being deployed in various positions, his playing time diminished, fueling his growing dissatisfaction.

“I am frustrated; I want to play,” Cremaschi stated last August. “The most important thing for me is to perform at a very high level, and to achieve that, I need playing time and experience. I have played very little in recent matches, and I do not believe it is due to my performance.”

Shortly thereafter, the Miami club arranged his loan to ensure he received consistent playing opportunities.

  • Inter Miami gains significant squad flexibility

Cremaschi’s permanent departure is expected to greatly benefit the Herons in their transfer ambitions. The club is reportedly keen on acquiring former Manchester United midfielder Casemiro, who is currently without a club. With one less midfielder and an open squad spot, Inter Miami appears poised to register another high-profile signing.
