Chad and Turkey advance security technology partnership

On May 14, 2026, Chad’s Ministry of Public Security and Immigration hosted a delegation from the Turkish firm IF Elektronik Ltd to engage in discussions concerning advanced technological cooperation. The dialogue primarily focused on cutting-edge digital security solutions, strategies to combat the illicit trade of mobile devices, enhanced cybersecurity measures, and the creation of valuable employment opportunities for Chadian youth. 

Secretary General Benguela Guidjinga conveyed the ministry’s profound interest in the innovative proposals presented, particularly those related to the rigorous control of mobile equipment and strengthening border security. This strategic technological partnership is viewed as a significant avenue for facilitating crucial skill transfer and fostering robust economic development across Chad.
