Onyeka initially arrived at City on a temporary deal in January, and his definitive move from the Bees was solidified with the commencement of the summer transfer window. The Nigerian international proved instrumental in manager Frank Lampard’s squad securing the Sky Bet Championship title. During his tenure, he featured in 14 matches, notably netting a spectacular goal during a pivotal encounter against Derby County this past April.
