Olympic de Marseille hosts Stade Rennais in a decisive Ligue 1 finale at Stade Vélodrome. The outcome will determine Marseille’s European ambitions for next season. Kick-off at 9pm.
A season-ending clash packed with tension and significance. With Marseille languishing in sixth place and Rennes occupying fifth, this 34th and final matchday of Ligue 1 carries decisive weight. The home side’s frustrated supporters have already signaled their discontent by boycotting any pre-match entertainment.
This fixture transcends mere competition. Beyond settling the league standings, the result will determine whether Olympic de Marseille secures a place in next season’s European competitions. After the club’s Champions League aspirations evaporated earlier in the campaign, only Europa League or Conference League qualification remains within reach.
