Ousmane Dembélé reacts to PSG’s high-scoring win against Bayern Munich

Following a breathtaking 5-4 victory in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals, Ousmane Dembélé reflected on a match that lived up to its billing. The Paris Saint-Germain attacker, who played a pivotal role in the win, is already preparing for the return fixture in Germany.

Dembélé named man of the match

Speaking to Canal+ Foot, the French international highlighted the attacking nature of both sides. “It was a contest between two massive teams that love to move forward without hesitation,” he explained. “At this stage of the competition, everyone knows the quality Bayern Munich possesses, but we showed our strength as well.”

Maintaining focus for the second leg

While PSG secured the win, Dembélé admitted that the team lost some momentum after taking a significant lead. “We are happy with the final score, even if we slowed down a bit when it was 5-2,” he noted. Looking toward the trip to Munich on May 6, the winger insisted that the team’s philosophy would remain unchanged.

“We are going there to win and secure our qualification. We have to stay fully concentrated. We won’t stop attacking, and we know they will do the same, which should result in another fantastic game for the fans.”
