Senegal appoints new port authority chief as leadership reshuffle continues
Dakar, — A significant shift in leadership has taken place at Senegal’s premier maritime gateway. Through an official presidential decree dated , the Head of State appointed Doune Pathé Mbengue, a seasoned civil administrator, as the new Director-General of the Port Autonome de Dakar (PAD). The move follows the removal of Waly Diouf Bodiang, former inspector of finance and customs, from the helm of the state-owned port operator.
