Senegal police arrest associate of prime minister over alleged unnatural acts

Security forces in Senegal have taken into custody Matar Ndiaga Seck, a known associate of Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, following an investigation into alleged unnatural acts.

The arrest was executed by the Division of Criminal Investigations (DIC), acting on a warrant issued by authorities in Linguère. Investigators revealed that Mr. Seck has been linked through corroborating evidence to a broader inquiry involving the detention of 22 individuals in the Djolof region, suspected of involvement in the same legal violations.
