Senegal police arrest associate of prime minister over alleged unnatural acts

Security forces in Senegal have taken into custody Matar Ndiaga Seck, a known associate of Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, following an investigation into alleged unnatural acts.

The arrest was executed by the Division of Criminal Investigations (DIC), acting on a warrant issued by authorities in Linguère. Investigators revealed that Mr. Seck has been linked through corroborating evidence to a broader inquiry involving the detention of 22 individuals in the Djolof region, suspected of involvement in the same legal violations.

While details remain under review, this case has drawn significant attention due to the high-profile connection to the country’s leadership. Authorities continue to gather facts as the investigation unfolds.
