Abdourahmane Diouf criticizes Ousmane Sonko’s remarks on president Diomaye Faye
In a pointed response to recent statements made by Pastef leader Ousmane Sonko concerning President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, Abdourahmane Diouf delivered a scathing critique, holding nothing back.
“Oh, Senegal!” Abdourahmane Diouf exclaimed, highlighting the consequences when a parliamentarian ascends to a prominent position like the National Assembly presidency without a firm grasp of legislative intricacies. “Such an individual struggles with procedural demands, finds the very ethics they espouse becoming a burden due to their inability to embody them, and intellectual rigor vanishes, overshadowed by a disturbing intellectual void.”
Diouf further asserted, “In such circumstances, truth gives way to blatant manipulation, fostering the illusion of a revolution devoid of genuine direction or steadfast leadership.”
He concluded by reiterating his unwavering dedication to the nation’s institutions, emphatically stating, “The Republic! Only the Republic!”
