Academic alliance strengthens management research between Morocco and Spain
A significant step forward for academic cooperation has been taken as leading Moroccan and Spanish associations formalize a partnership focused on the field of management sciences.
A strategic agreement signed in Santander
The agreement was officially signed in Santander, Spain, bringing together the Association marocaine de gestion (AMG), based in Rabat, and the Asociación Científica de Economía y Dirección de la Empresa (ACEDE) from Spain.
This protocol establishes a formal framework for scientific synergy. It is designed to drive collaborative research projects, organize joint academic forums, and bridge the gap between researchers, lecturers, and doctoral students from both nations. The AMG, which maintains close ties with the Université Mohammed V de Rabat, emphasized that this move will foster deeper scientific exchanges.
Enhancing management science networks
As members of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM), both organizations aim to solidify the link between the Spanish and Moroccan scientific communities. The partnership focuses specifically on business administration and management sectors, ensuring that research standards remain high across the Mediterranean.
A primary objective of this alliance is the professional development of young lecturers and PhD candidates. By facilitating their entry into global scientific networks, the partnership aims to elevate the standard of research and teaching while providing emerging scholars with better international visibility.
The role of ACEDE and AMG
Established in 1990, ACEDE stands as Spain‘s premier management academy, boasting a membership of over 700 university professors and researchers. Its core mission is the promotion of rigorous academic study and the improvement of teaching within corporate administration.
Through this collaboration, AMG and ACEDE are set to revitalize scientific dialogue between Morocco and Spain. This initiative provides a vital gateway for scholars to engage with the international academic sphere, ensuring that management expertise continues to evolve through cross-border cooperation.
