During a high-level meeting in N’Djamena, Chad’s Prime Minister and Head of Government, Allamaye Halina, received M. Abdelkader Djellaoui, Algeria’s Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, as part of a two-day working visit. The discussions underscored the deep-rooted cooperation and shared vision between the two nations, with a focus on continental solidarity and bilateral partnerships.

The Prime Minister of Chad extended his appreciation for President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s unwavering dedication to fostering African integration and strengthening ties between Chad and Algeria. He highlighted the Algerian leader’s pivotal role in promoting regional development and solidarity, emphasizing Chad’s admiration for Algeria’s long-standing commitment to African unity.

In a gesture of goodwill, Allamaye Halina conveyed the warm regards of Chad’s President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno to President Tebboune, reaffirming the historic bonds and mutual solidarity that define the relationship between the two countries and their peoples.

Additionally, the Prime Minister of Chad extended his fraternal greetings to Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, reasserting Chad’s commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation and expanding areas of mutual benefit. The Algerian delegation, present during the audience, included key figures such as the Director-General of Algeria’s Agency for International Cooperation and Solidarity for Development, Abed Hallouz, the Algerian Ambassador to Chad, senior officials from the Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, as well as the CEOs of Cosider Public Works and the National Public Works Company (Entreprise Nationale des Travaux Publics).
