In a formal statement issued to local media on July 21, 2026, the organization emphasized the urgent need for meaningful reforms that address the deep-rooted challenges facing the country’s electoral governance.

Addressing Socio-Political Challenges Through Dialogue

The 2PFJ underscores that Côte d’Ivoire’s electoral system cannot be rebuilt through superficial consultations alone. Instead, it urges the government to establish a transparent and participatory framework that engages all relevant stakeholders—political parties, civil society, women’s groups, and youth organizations.
