Gennaro gattuso assumes managerial role at lazio

SS Lazio officially confirmed on Tuesday the appointment of Gennaro Gattuso as their new head coach. This move brings the esteemed former Italy national team manager back to Serie A.

Gattuso, a renowned former midfielder, returns to Italy’s top flight after a recent spell where he narrowly missed guiding the Azzurri to qualification for the 2026 World Cup. His previous experience in Serie A includes a two-year tenure at Napoli, where he managed the club between 2019 and 2021.
