Laborex Tchad celebrates three decades of vital healthcare service in Chad

Laborex Tchad, a prominent subsidiary of the CFAO Healthcare group, recently commemorated its three decades of leadership in pharmaceutical distribution across Chad. This significant celebration acknowledged the remarkable journey of a company that has become an indispensable force in supplying essential medicines and medical devices throughout the nation.

Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has steadfastly supported the country’s health infrastructure for thirty years. It consistently delivers high-quality pharmaceutical products to a vast network of pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and health centers nationwide, including major urban centers like N’Djamena, Moundou, Sarh, Abéché, Bongor, and numerous other localities.

The celebratory event featured insightful addresses from key figures, including the Board of Directors’ President, Ms. Ngarmbatina Sou IV, and Mr. Sébastien Roux, Deputy Zone Director for the CFAO Healthcare group.

In her speech, Ms. Ngarmbatina began by expressing profound gratitude to Chadian authorities for their crucial support in establishing and nurturing Laborex Tchad’s growth. She then extended her appreciation to financial partners, pharmacists, pharmaceutical depots, hospitals, and all clients who have placed their trust in the company’s services.

“You chose Laborex Tchad not merely out of habit, but based on unwavering confidence,” she emphasized. “Professionalism is at our core: ensuring the right medication reaches the right place, at the precise moment, for every patient across the national territory.”

Visibly moved by the occasion, she added, “Thirty years is a substantial achievement. We envision at least another seventy years ahead of us.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Sébastien Roux reflected on his 24-year career within the CFAO group and lauded the deeply human endeavor embodied by Laborex Tchad. He paid tribute to former leaders, particularly Ms. Maria Mion Calvet, and commended the current dynamic leadership under General Manager Ms. Tignocqua.

“Laborex is a company with a rich history, yet it remains vibrant and youthful thanks to its dedicated human resources,” he stated.

He further acknowledged the Ministry of Public Health for its close collaboration, as well as partner laboratories, banking institutions, and the entire staff for their daily commitment.

“It is through the collective efforts of all of you that we consistently manage to ensure a dependable supply of pharmaceutical products throughout the country,” he affirmed.

The ceremony concluded in a festive atmosphere, enhanced by the captivating rhythms of the balafon, a traditional instrument that left a memorable impression on attendees.
