Ligue 1 2026-2027: PSG and Paris FC opening fixtures revealed, dates set for clashes with Marseille

The LFP released the calendar for the upcoming Ligue 1 season on Wednesday, with Paris Saint-Germain starting at home and Paris FC on the road. Key dates against Olympique de Marseille are now set.

Paris Saint-Germain now knows its path for the new season. As the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) gradually unveils the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 schedule this Wednesday, supporters of the capital club can already mark their calendars for the major dates ahead.

The reigning champions will kick off their campaign at the Parc des Princes against Rennes on the weekend of 21-23 August. It is a demanding start, setting the tone for a particularly tough opening stretch for Luis Enrique’s men. They travel to Lille in matchday two before hosting Monaco for their third fixture.

OM-PSG as early as matchday five

That gives PSG little time to ease into the season before the first international break in mid-September. Indeed, before heading off with their national teams, Ousmane Dembélé and his teammates will face Olympique de Marseille at the Stade Vélodrome for the first Classique of the season, scheduled for Sunday 20 September. The return leg at the Parc des Princes is set for Sunday 7 February 2027.

The other capital side, Paris FC, enjoyed a more favourable start to their season. Antoine Kombouaré’s squad will travel to promoted Troyes for the opening day. They then host OGC Nice at the Stade Jean-Bouin before a challenging trip to Marseille, followed by home matches against Olympique Lyonnais and Strasbourg.
