Morocco is stepping up efforts to secure the required funding for the Atlantic African Gas Pipeline (AAGP), a major energy infrastructure project developed in collaboration with Nigeria. The North African kingdom is engaging with the U.S. Export-Import Bank (US Exim Bank) and the World Bank to mobilize up to $26 billion in financing, as revealed by Morocco’s ambassador to the United States, Youssef Amrani.
