The Moroccan Attorney General at the Court of Cassation and head of the Public Prosecution, Hicham Balaoui, hosted a working session on Thursday, July 9, in Rabat, with Ousmane Abderamane Djougourou, Inspector General of Chad’s Independent Anti-Corruption Authority. This meeting was part of a working visit aimed at exploring Morocco’s proven approaches in preventing and combating corruption.

During the session, Hicham Balaoui outlined Morocco’s key anti-corruption framework, highlighting the legal and institutional mechanisms established, as well as the penal policies implemented by the Public Prosecution. Discussions also focused on best practices in corruption control, drawing from comparative experiences.

The Chadian delegation gained insight into several initiatives spearheaded by the Public Prosecution, including a dedicated hotline for reporting corruption and embezzlement. Additionally, they were introduced to the e-TABLIGH digital platform, which enables citizens to report suspected corrupt acts securely using advanced digital technologies.
