The Moroccan ambassador to Niger, together with the Nigerien foreign minister, launched the 27th anniversary of Morocco’s Throne Day with a ceremonial event in Niamey. The occasion highlighted the kingdom’s achievements under the reign of King Mohammed VI, showcasing major transformations in infrastructure, industry, and social protections.

The ambassador, Mohammed Iboumraten, emphasized the depth of Morocco’s progress: «The transformation spans key sectors like automotive, aerospace, agro-industry, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy. These advancements have reshaped the country’s economic structure and strengthened its global standing.»

The celebration also underscored the strong and evolving partnership between Morocco and Niger. Bilateral ties rooted in history and solidarity have expanded into robust cooperation across politics, economics, security, culture, and religious exchange.
