Dakar – Ousmane Sonko, President of Senegal’s National Assembly, conveyed his heartfelt condolences following the passing of Serigne Abdou Bakhi Mbacké, the revered Khalife of the Khassim Mbacké family in Guinguinéo, on July 9, 2026.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Sonko expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the prominent religious leader, extending his sympathies to the deceased’s family, the Mouride community, and the people of Senegal.
