Algerian prime minister meets chadian president in N’Djamena

Algeria’s Prime Minister, Sifi Ghrieb, landed in N’Djamena on Monday for an official visit to meet Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno. The meeting was arranged at the request of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to strengthen bilateral ties and deepen cooperation between the two nations.

The visit follows a commitment to bolster regional solidarity and economic partnership in the Sahel, underscoring Algeria’s strategic role in West African diplomacy. Both leaders discussed ways to enhance trade, security cooperation, and cross-border collaboration during the high-level talks.
