Since relocating to the new Médine market a year ago, he has seen a noticeable improvement in his livelihood. “My income has stabilized, and I am grateful for the opportunity. Prices for my products vary based on materials and design,” he explains, while urging young entrepreneurs to embrace discipline and perseverance in their work.

Fousseyni Sangaré, another key player in the market, specializes in agricultural equipment. As the rainy season approaches, farmers flock to his stall to purchase plows, hoes, and other soil-working tools. He sources most of his inventory from the Koutiala region but faces logistical hurdles due to security concerns in certain areas. “Despite the economic strain on farmers, their loyalty keeps my business afloat,” he notes with appreciation.
