Addressing his distinguished guest, the religious leader unequivocally articulated his desire to formalize his membership with Pastef. “I consider myself a member of Pastef, and I plan to purchase my membership card very soon. However, I am currently unsure about the process for joining through the online platform,” Serigne Habib Sy conveyed. In response, Ousmane Sonko promptly offered his assistance to streamline the process. “I will personally ensure your membership card is delivered to you,” the Pastef leader assured him.

The son of the late Mame Abdou Aziz Sy Dabakh, he previously aligned with the “Y en a marre” movement in February 2021. Years later, he now openly demonstrates his partnership with Pastef and announces his concrete plans to formalize his party membership.
