Au leadership of Morocco’s King, African Union official praises economic strides
The Commissioner for Economic Development, Tourism, Trade, Industry, and Mines at the African Union (AU), Francisca Tatchouop Belobe, commended Morocco’s remarkable economic progress on Monday during a meeting in Rabat with Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad.
Under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco has achieved significant milestones, particularly in industrial sectors, Ms. Tatchouop Belobe noted. She highlighted the Kingdom’s dominance in Africa’s automotive and aeronautics industries, showcasing its strategic role in driving continental growth.
Emphasizing Morocco’s commitment to shared prosperity, the AU Commissioner praised the Kingdom’s efforts to disseminate its expertise across Africa. She underscored the establishment of a value chain for critical minerals—a pioneering initiative that positions Morocco as a key player in securing Africa’s industrial future.
In a gesture of deep appreciation, Ms. Tatchouop Belobe extended gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his unwavering support to the AU Commission, reinforcing Morocco’s pivotal role in Africa’s economic transformation.
