Chad president concludes diplomatic visit to United Arab Emirates
The President of Chad, His Excellency Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, returned to N’Djamena late yesterday evening after concluding an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
High-level meetings strengthen bilateral ties
During his visit, President Déby held two pivotal meetings with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, while the second was hosted at the Chadian Head of State’s residence.
Warm welcome upon return to N’Djamena
As the presidential aircraft touched down in N’Djamena, a formal reception awaited President Déby. The Prime Minister, Ambassador Allah-Maye Halina, led the welcoming committee, accompanied by the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several government ministers, the Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Head of the Presidential Military Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
