On the occasion of Côte d’Ivoire’s 66th Independence Day, Méambly Tié Évariste, former Member of Parliament and regional leader, marked a turning point in his career by publicly reaffirming his unwavering commitment to national development.
From politics to academia and entrepreneurship
Méambly Tié Évariste used the national celebration to share a heartfelt message with Ivoirians, particularly those from the Cavally, Guémon and Tonkpi regions. He reflected on his decades of service, which spanned political leadership, regional governance, and academic achievement, while outlining his future vision beyond traditional office.
The former Deputy and first President of the Guémon Regional Council emphasized that true service to the nation extends far beyond political office: “It continues wherever experience, knowledge, investment, and dedication can contribute to the progress of Côte d’Ivoire and Africa.”
Academic excellence and intellectual contribution
In a bold shift from politics, Méambly Tié Évariste revealed his pursuit of advanced education over the past seven years. He holds two Master’s degrees—one in organizational management and another in public policy, specializing in African potential—earned in Tunisia and France, respectively. Currently, he is finalizing a PhD in management sciences, with his defense scheduled for October 2026.
Parallel to his studies, he has contributed to public discourse through three published works: Vaincre ou l’art de transformer l’adversité en engagement and Partenariat public-privé et financement des infrastructures routières en milieu rural, both exploring resilience and governance. A third book, set for release in October 2026, will focus on entrepreneurship, real estate, and economic development.
Transitioning to a new mission
With his academic journey nearing completion, Méambly Tié Évariste announced a strategic pivot toward entrepreneurship, investment, and job creation. Having built a substantial business presence abroad since 2012 and settled in France in 2020, he expressed his intention to leverage international networks for African development.
He underscored that this move is not a departure from public service, but a transformation: “It is a new chapter—one dedicated to building companies, fostering education, and driving innovation.” He also reaffirmed his lifelong support for peace, national cohesion, youth empowerment, and sustainable development.
Gratitude and vision for the future
In closing, he extended deep gratitude to the people of Cavally, Guémon, and Tonkpi for their trust and support throughout his political and academic journey. He called for unity, hard work, and solidarity as pillars of Côte d’Ivoire’s future, concluding with a hopeful message: “Together, may we build a nation that is more united, prosperous, and forward-looking.”
He closed his address with a patriotic note: “Long live Cavally! Long live Guémon! Long live Tonkpi! Long live the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire!”
