The second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group convened on July 9, 2026, in Abidjan at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire, under the leadership of Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé. This high-profile investor-focused session marked a pivotal moment in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic trajectory.
In his opening address, the Prime Minister highlighted the significance of this gathering: « Today represents another milestone in this consultative process centered on investment, enterprise, and value creation. I am pleased to report that over 700 investors from friendly nations have joined this critical dialogue. »
The event drew a robust attendance from business leaders, investors, and private sector representatives who traveled to Abidjan to engage in discussions. During his remarks, the Head of Government emphasized the importance of this platform not only as a dialogue forum with private sector stakeholders but also as a means to align on a shared vision for sustainable progress.
« Dear partners, your commitment alongside us reflects the trust you place in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic potential and growth prospects. You are vital allies in transforming our nation into a more competitive and job-creating economy. The success of this vision hinges on your willingness to invest, » the Prime Minister stated.
He underscored the government’s commitment to positioning the private sector as the driving force behind Côte d’Ivoire’s economic transformation. The Prime Minister reassured attendees that the country’s economy has consistently demonstrated resilience and adaptability, achieving an average growth rate of 6.5% over recent years.
