Mali’s armed forces have reported neutralizing nearly a hundred armed combatants during coordinated military operations in the northern regions of Anfif and Tabrachat. The operations, conducted with allied support, targeted fighters linked to the Group for Support of Islam and Muslims and the Azauad Liberation Front.

Thirteen precision airstrikes were carried out, resulting in the destruction of six armored vehicles and a pickup truck. Military officials confirmed the strikes occurred on Tuesday and reaffirmed their commitment to sustained, disciplined counterinsurgency efforts across the country in collaboration with partners.

In a social media update, the Africa Corps announced significant destruction of militant vehicles, including the incineration of several through targeted strikes. A drone operated by the corps also intercepted a vehicle transporting ammunition and military supplies, further disrupting rebel logistics.

The Africa Corps emphasized the success of joint operations with Mali’s armed forces against armed groups in the region, vowing to continue targeting militant positions and equipment to degrade their operational capacity.
